Birkdale Studios was originally named Jade Print & Engineering and was created in April 1994. Our original base was in Chorley, Lancashire. After two successful years we took over Ashley Studios, a screen printing company based in Southport. We moved to the premises at 153a Upper Aughton Road, Birkdale, Southport and has been based from here ever since.

In 1998 we also took over Wheatcroft Display, another screen printing company based in Chorley and took the business to Southport.

Over the last 12 years Birkdale Studios has grown from humble beginning's to becoming one of the leading printers in the North West. Over that time we have diversified into many areas including embroidery, sublimation printing and design.

In 2004 we celebrated 10 years of trading and we also changed the name of the business to Birkdale Studios. We believe our new name better reflects the array of services and products we offer.
