Transfers

At Birkdale Studios we offer an array of different transfer options and provide you the technical backup to help advice you on the right choice for your project. All are transfers are custom made to your requirements.

Computer cut transfers.

We offer computer cut transfers that offer durability and bright bold colours using the highest quality material. They are great for short run promotional garments and can be used to create both single and multicoloured designs. We can provide an array of different standard finish colours as well as day-glow, glitter colours, reflective and flock finish. They are however not cost effective for long runs or for very detail logos and can not be used for creating full colour images.

Digitally printed transfers.

Digitally printed transfer offer the ability to provide cost effective short run full colour and multicolour images. They are durable and when used with the latest in digital inks, as we do, can provide long lasting images on both light and dark garments. The image is contour cut before applying to the garment so your left with just the image area as a transfer. They are often used in combination with the computerized cut transfer to provide cost effective short run quality images.

Screen Printed transfers.

For long run and repeat orders screen printed transfer is normally the best option. We can provide multicoloured transfers that we can apply to the garment ourselves, or we can send onto you so they can be applied by yourself when using an appropriate heat press. We also offer the option to have all your transfers printed up and then stored. This way you can order the garment as you need them and we will applied the transfer for you. This is a great option if you know you will need a number of garments producing during a year or so but don't want to pay for them all at once. We will only charge you for the printing of the transfers and then keep them for you. As you need them we will apply them to the garments and then send them onto you. You will only have to pay the application and garment charge as and when you need them. It also means you will get them quicker as it takes less time for us to apply a transfer to an garment then it does to do a print a full run of them and then apply them.

Screen printed transfers are also ideal for many sport related garments which includes letters and numbers for hockey, basketball, netball and football to name just a few.

Sublimation Transfers.

At Birkdale Studios one of our specialized areas is producing dye sublimated products. We produce our own transfer and apply them ourselves onto specially coated products. If you are interested in producing your own items and have a suitable heat press then we can provide you with the transfers for application.
